Grant applications are now being accepted for North Dakota agriculture companies interested in exporting their food products into El Salvador. A trade mission to El Salvador is planned for Sept. 24-26, 2026.
The purpose of the mission to El Salvador is to develop and foster relationships between North Dakota agriculture companies and Salvadorian companies, and to expand North Dakota agriculture exports into El Salvador. El Salvador's middle class is steadily increasing, it is a net importer of agricultural and related products and ranks 36th among U.S. ag export markets with a total export value of nearly $600 million.
