BISMARCK, N.D. – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced Agriculture Diversification and Development (ADD) Fund awards for seven projects. The awards totaling $850,000 were approved at the ADD quarterly meeting May 29 in Fargo.

BISMARCK, N.D. - Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission (APUC) awards for two projects. The awards totaling $123,750 were approved at the APUC quarterly meeting May 30 in Fargo.

The Pride of Dakota Advisory Council will meet at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s 6th floor conference room at the State Capitol.

The Model Zoning Task Force will meet at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 3, at the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s 6th floor conference room at the State Capitol.

BISMARCK – Governor Doug Burgum has proclaimed May 20-27, 2024, as Emerald Ash Borer Awareness Week in North Dakota.

The Agriculture Diversification and Development Fund Committee will meet at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 29 in the Klefstad Conference Room at the NDSU Alumni Center, 1241 University Dr. N., Fargo, ND.

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Bioscience Innovation Grant Fund Committee will meet at 10:40 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024, and at 9 a.m., Friday, June 7, 2024, in the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s 6th floor conference room at the State Capitol building.

BISMARCK – With warmer weather on the way, it is important for the public to be aware of invasive species. Each year, harmful invasive weeds, plant pests and diseases cost the U.S. $40 billion in losses to cropland, grasslands, woody areas, forests and riparian areas, and expensive eradication and control efforts, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
