BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced that grant applications are now being accepted for North Dakota agricultural companies interested in exporting their food products into Morocco. A trade mission to Morocco is planned for the week of April 13, 2026.

“The purpose of the mission to Morocco is to develop and foster relationships between North Dakota agricultural companies and Moroccan companies, and to expand North Dakota exports into Morocco,” Goehring said. “Morocco’s middle class is steadily increasing, it is a net importer of agricultural and related products and ranks 36th among U.S. ag export markets with a total export value of nearly $600 million.”

“Top product prospects for export to Morocco include feed grains, soybeans, tree nuts, pulses, rice, live animals and genetics, poultry, beef and dairy products,” Goehring added.
