BISMARCK, N.D. –Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has reactivated the Drought Hotline and interactive hay map. First activated in 2017, the hotline and map are available for ranchers affected by the drought.

State Water Commission reactivates program to provide cost-share assistance for livestock producers
BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced today that the State Water Commission has reactivated the Drought Disaster Livestock Water Supply Project Assistance Program, as the governor declared a statewide drought disasterfor extremely dry conditions across North Dakota.

BISMARCK – The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced a new $6 billion initiative called Pandemic Assistance for Producers, designed to reach a broader set of producers than previous COVID-19 aid programs. The initiative will include existing programs like the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) which will be refined, as statutory authority allows, to better address the needs of producers.
