Bismarck, ND – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced that the North Dakota Department of Agriculture will make Honey Tasting Educational Kits available for classrooms.

Bismarck, ND – Menoken School will showcase North Dakota-grown and produced foods on Tuesday, Oct. 27, during Pride of Dakota Fresh School Lunch Day. Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring and Deputy Superintendent of Public Instruction Amanda Peterson will join students for a lunch featuring all local products. Additionally, local producer Legendary Greens will bring the Strengthen ND Veggie Van to the school for a brief lunch and learn lesson on microgreens.

Drought relief program receives over 220 applications in first week 

BISMARCK, N.D. – Emerald ash borer was detected this week by Bismarck city forestry staff while removing declining ash trees. This is the first detection in central North Dakota. Emerald ash borer has also been found in Cass and LaMoure counties.
