BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced that applications are now being accepted for 2023 Specialty Crop Grants.

The North Dakota Game and Fish Department and North Dakota Department of Agriculture are once again opening the Coyote Catalog, a statewide effort designed to connect committed coyote hunters and trappers with landowners who are dealing with coyotes in their areas.

BISMARCK – The North Dakota State Board of Animal Health and the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Animal Health Division are reminding horse owners to protect their horses from equine herpesvirus-1 (EHV-1). A horse in Burleigh County has been confirmed positive for equine herpesvirus myeloencephalopathy (EHM), the neurologic manifestation of the virus.

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced Agricultural Diversification and Development (ADD) Fund awards for four projects. The awards totaling $825,000 were approved at the ADD quarterly meeting Nov. 16 in Wahpeton.

BISMARCK – The Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase will return to the Bismarck Event Center, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2-3.

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission (APUC) awards for nine projects. The awards totaling $1,065,422.75 were approved at the APUC quarterly meeting Nov. 17 in Wahpeton.

BISMARCK – The application deadline for reimbursement for organic certification costs is Nov. 30, 2022. Applications will be accepted for reimbursement of organic certification costs through the Organic Certification Cost Share Program for fiscal year 2022 through the end of the month.

BISMARCK – Nearly 140 companies selling Pride of Dakota merchandise will fill the Fargo Scheels Arena during Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18-19.
