BISMARCK, N.D. – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring strongly opposes the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) recently released draft herbicide strategy, which proposes to implement mitigation measures to all conventional herbicides used in the lower 48 states.

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced the availability of the Agriculture Infrastructure Grant Program after its creation by the 68th Legislative Assembly earlier this year. BISMARCK – North Dakota’s state veterinarian says the state’s first reported case of anthrax this year is a reminder to livestock producers to take action to protect their animals from the disease, especially in areas with a past history of the disease. The case, in Grant County, was confirmed yesterday by the North Dakota State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring announced the availability of a royalty oversight program after its creation by the 68th Legislative Assembly earlier this year. The program will provide technical assistance and support to royalty owners, lease owners and mineral companies relating to royalty payment issues, as well as educational outreach.
