BISMARCK, N.D – The North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA) and the North Dakota Agriculture Association (NDAA) will be hosting a series of anhydrous ammonia safety training sessions across the state. 

MANDAN – Attendees at the North Dakota Farmers Market and Growers Association (NDFMGA) & Local Foods Conference held today learned that the Hunger Free ND Garden Project has recorded volunteer donations of more than 3.1 million pounds of fresh produce to food pantries, soup kitchens, and other charitable community programs since the program started in 2010.

BISMARCK – Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced North Dakota Agricultural Products Utilization Commission (APUC) awards for seven projects. The requests totaling $273,000 were approved at the APUC quarterly meeting Feb. 19-20 in Bismarck.

BISMARCK – The deadline for eligible expenses for the North Dakota Department of Agriculture’s Emergency Feed Transportation Assistance Program has been extended. The program will reimburse eligible producers for a portion of feed transportation expenses incurred between Sept. 30, 2019, and Feb. 20, 2020.

BISMARCK, N.D. – President Trump signed the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) today. The agreement passed the U.S. House on Dec. 19, 2019, and the U.S. Senate on Jan. 16, 2020.
